REDDING POLICE DEPARTMENT
Public Safety Dispatcher 

 

Redding Police Department - Entry Level and Post Certified

 

The Town of Redding Connecticut is accepting applications for both Entry Level and POST Certified Police Officers for the position of police officer.  There is an immediate opening within the department.  Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma/GED, be a Connecticut resident and possess a valid Connecticut drivers license.

Applicants must register online at www.policeapp.com. Candidates will be required to have a passing score of 70% on the CPCA entry level or certified officer exam and obtain a valid CHIP card.

The Town of Redding offers a competitive salary and benefits package including: CMERS Pension, medical/dental insurance, short/long term disability insurance, group life insurance, longevity pay, paid sick leave, paid personal leave, paid holidays, paid vacation, 457 deferred compensation plan, shift differential, educational incentives and uniform/equipment allowance.  The salary range is $67,113 to $105,738 (salary may be commensurate with experience for certified officers).  The Town of Redding is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
