The Town of Wallingford is currently accepting applications through (www.policeapp.com) for current Connecticut P.O.S.T.C. Certified Police Officers for the position of Police Officer. Applicants must be either active Connecticut P.O.S.T.C. Certified Police officers in good standing with their current department, or have retired in good standing, still having Connecticut P.O.S.T.C. Certified Police Officer certification status.
Minimum Qualifications
In addition to information outlined above applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Must be a High School graduate or possesses a G.E.D.
- License: Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Residency: Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Character Requirements: Applicant must meet the highest ethical standards. Candidates will undergo a rigorous background investigation, including polygraph.
