Course Overview:
This two-and-a-half day instructional program equips fire and arson investigators with essential practical and technical competencies for investigating vehicle fires and identifying their points of origin. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with hands-on training exercises focused on conducting methodical, thorough, and scientifically-grounded examinations of motor vehicles.
Course Content:
Participants will develop comprehensive knowledge of vehicle construction, electrical systems, fuel systems, and associated components commonly found in motor vehicles, including those utilizing alternative fuels. The training explores how these systems and their individual components may malfunction or become ignition sources.
