Overview

This three-day conference brings together law enforcement personnel and school staff to address critical issues surrounding school safety and youth protection. Participants will explore evidence-based crime prevention and response strategies while analyzing case studies and lessons learned from relevant incidents in schools.

Training Focus Areas

  • Understanding the effects of trauma on young people and implementing effective interventions
  • Working with students who are managing mental health conditions and learning difficulties
  • Recognizing current youth-related trends in social media usage and substance abuse patterns
  • Reviewing effective prevention and intervention program models for school environments

Target Audience

This training is designed for educators, law enforcement professionals, law enforcement support staff, social workers, tribal partners, and victim service providers.
