This intensive two-day hands-on training program equips participants with the methodologies and tools necessary to perform comprehensive internet-based investigations and securely retrieve data from Social Media platforms using court-authorized processes.

Throughout the course, attendees will explore Open-Source Intelligence Techniques (OSINT), which enable investigators to gather evidence and acquire information about subjects without requiring legal documentation or formal requests.

Key topics covered include an introduction to Internet Protocol architecture and the Dark Web environment. The curriculum also features instruction on sophisticated Google Search strategies, alongside practical guidance on establishing and managing online profiles for investigative purposes.

A significant hands-on component involves using forensic mapping technology to examine and interpret Snapchat geolocation information, providing participants with real-world analytical skills.

Requirements: Students must bring a personal laptop with internet connectivity and have Google Earth Pro for Desktop pre-installed. Additionally, participants should bring an external mouse to use with their laptop during the training sessions.
