Overview
This intensive three-day hands-on training program equips students with the skills and official certification necessary to conduct thorough analysis of digital data, cellular records, social media information, Cellebrite data, and geolocation intelligence using LeadsOnline Nighthawk. The course is an officially sanctioned offering by LeadsOnline and concludes with an official certification of completion.
Participants will gain foundational knowledge of cellular network technology and learn how Cell Site Location Information obtained from wireless carriers can be leveraged in criminal investigations for both historical device location tracking and real-time monitoring. The course covers cell tower searches and area-based investigative techniques.
Course Content
The program emphasizes practical, hands-on training in LeadsOnline Nighthawk for analyzing digital and geolocation data. Students will master industry best practices for requesting data from cellular providers and social media platforms, and will develop proficiency in examining raw data formats as well as processed information through the Nighthawk platform.
Technical Requirements
Attendees must bring a laptop with internet connectivity, a compatible web browser (Chrome or Edge), and Google Earth Pro for Desktop installed. A mouse for laptop use is also recommended.
