Homicide Investigation

This comprehensive course is designed for both first responders and lead investigators seeking to develop the knowledge and practical skills necessary to conduct thorough and professional investigations into potential homicide situations. The training encompasses the complete investigative process, beginning with proper crime scene approach and continuing through detailed scene documentation and evidence collection procedures. The curriculum also addresses investigative approaches beyond the immediate crime scene, including criminal personality profiling, advanced interrogation methodologies, and professional interaction with media representatives.

Target Audience

This course serves patrol officers, newly assigned and experienced detectives, investigations supervisors, crime scene technicians, medical examiner and coroner investigators, and military investigative personnel. The program is restricted to sworn law enforcement officers and individuals directly assigned to law enforcement agencies.
