Course Overview

Participants will gain hands-on experience in mobile device unlocking, decryption, and data extraction workflows. Instruction includes advanced strategies for handling locked devices in various states, including Before First Unlock (BFU) and After First Unlock (AFU) scenarios.

Prerequisites and Recommendations

No formal prerequisites are required for enrollment. However, prior completion of Cellebrite Mobile Forensics Fundamentals (CMFF) is recommended to ensure foundational knowledge.

Tools and Technologies

Training utilizes Inseyets for advanced mobile extraction and decryption workflows, UFED for performing logical, file system, and physical extractions, and Physical Analyzer (PA) for data analysis, validation, and report generation.

Learning Outcomes

Certification

Successful completion of this course leads to the Cellebrite Certified Operator for Inseyets (CCO Inseyets) credential. To earn the certification, participants must pass a knowledge assessment and complete a practical skills evaluation with a minimum score of 80%. The CCO certification requires ongoing recertification to maintain active status, completed through a self-paced, 4-hour recertification course that includes both knowledge and practical assessments, with successful completion renewing the credential for two years. This course serves as a prerequisite for the Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME) certification pathway and may be taken individually or as part of the recommended bundled CCO and CCPA pathway.
