Police Traffic Laser/RADAR Instructor

This comprehensive program combines instruction on both RADAR and Laser speed measurement devices, equipping participants with the knowledge and teaching capabilities needed to conduct RADAR and Laser training for law enforcement personnel.

Participants will explore the underlying scientific principles governing these speed measurement technologies and learn how to apply them effectively within a comprehensive speed enforcement framework. The course addresses multiple operational dimensions including equipment testing and verification procedures, relevant case law, health and safety considerations, and practical operational factors.

Using hands-on practice with current-generation equipment units, attendees gain familiarity with today's most advanced speed measurement technology. The program incorporates teaching practice sessions designed to emphasize the critical importance of thorough operator knowledge of measurement equipment.

Class Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Tuition: $895.00

Prerequisites

Florida law enforcement officers must have minimum three years of experience as a RADAR/Laser operator and must have successfully completed FDLE instructor techniques training before attending. This prerequisite is also recommended for officers from other jurisdictions.

Important Information
