The Simsbury Police Department is a CALEA and State of Connecticut accredited law enforcement agency committed to providing the highest level of professional service to our community. We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals interested in a rewarding and meaningful career in law enforcement.

Located approximately 10 miles northwest of Hartford, the Town of Simsbury is home to more than 24,000 residents and encompasses approximately 34.5 square miles. The department is staffed by 42 sworn officers, 7 civilian dispatchers, an Animal Control Officer, records and administrative personnel, and an Accreditation Specialist. In addition to patrol and investigative services, the department offers a wide range of community-focused programs including child safety seat inspections, crime prevention initiatives, and adult and junior police academies.
