NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER
Applications must be returned no later than September 30, 2025. Applications should be returned with a current resume, release authorization and copies of important documents.
Full Time Police Officer - Entry Level (send to academy), PTC certified, SLEO II waiver eligible, alternate route or enrolled as an alternate route candidate.
Minimum Requirements
- Shall be a citizen of the United States
- Resident of the State of New Jersey
- The applicant must be sound in mind and body
- The applicant must be able to read, write and speak the English language well and intelligently
- The applicant must be of good moral character
- The applicant must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude which will be prejudicial to the morale of the Department
- The applicant shall not be less than 18 years of age
- Possess a valid NJ driver’s license
- Must not have reached 35th birthday by time of appointment
- If offered conditional employment, applicant must be able to pass a background check, psychological exam, medical exam and drug screening
