**The Falmouth Police Department services a population of over 30,000. We are located on. We are a coastal community located on Cape Cod. Our organization of 65 sworn officers consists of 1 Chief, 1 Deputy Chief, 2 Captains, 4 Lieutenants, 8 Sergeants, 8 Detectives, 46 Patrol Officers, and 5 civilian personnel. The Falmouth Police Department is a full-service Police Department with specialty assignments in Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council, CCRLEC SWAT, Community Engagement Team, Social Media Team, Bike Patrol, Motorcycle, Firearms Instructor, Traffic and Crash Reconstruction, Honor Guard, Rape Aggression Defense, and others**

ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY

The Town of Falmouth is a large and complex coastal community with 44 square miles of land area, 60 miles of coast line, 14 harbors and embayment and numerous waterfront public access points. The Town’s population over 30,000 and this number triples during the summer tourism months. The Town offers a full range of quality services within a coastal community and has the largest and most comprehensive public works department on Cape Cod with responsibilities for highway, public lands, water, wastewater and related public infrastructure.
