The Rumson Police Department is hiring
Full Time Police Officers for Class A positions:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Between the ages of 18 and 34
- Have a valid NJ Driver’s License
- Be a High School Graduate with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or sixty (60) college credits from an accredited college or university.
- Must be a graduate of a New Jersey Police Training Commission Basic Course for Police Officers (Class A Certification) or a graduate of a New Jersey Police Training Commission Basic Course for Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer; and eligible for a waiver from the PTC to attend the Basic Course for Police Officers Waiver Course.
