The mission of the Rumson Police Department is to protect and serve our community, to keep it safe, to prevent crime, and to build partnerships that enhance the quality of life in Rumson.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

The Rumson Police Department is under the command of Chief Robert A. Boyer. The department has seventeen sworn police officers including the Chief, Captain, Lieutenants, Sergeants, Detective, and Patrol Officers. There are also SLEO 1 Officers, Administrative Records Clerk, Confidential Secretary to the Chief, and part-time Dispatchers.
