BOROUGH OF QUAKERTOWN
POLICE OFFICER
The Civil Service Commission of the Borough of Quakertown, Bucks County, is now accepting applications for the position of police officer in Quakertown. The Borough is a full-service municipality with a population of approximately 9,500 and a full-time police department of twenty-one sworn officers. Candidates will be chosen from the October 28th, 2023 Bucks County Police Chief’s Association consortium test.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates for a position with the Quakertown Police Department must pass the Bucks County written test with a minimum score of 85% and must possess a minimum of an associate degree from a nationally accredited college or university, or sixty (60) or more credits toward a bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university and continues to matriculate toward a bachelor’s degree in a field related to law enforcement.
Salary & Benefits
Starting 2023 salary for a non-certified officer is $70,917 per year. An excellent fringe benefit package is included.
