Now Hiring: Entry Level and Lateral Transfer Officers

Salary: $25.20-$33.16 

$10,000 Sign On Bonus for POST Certified Officers

Minimum Requirements

• Be a United States citizen
• Be at least 21 years of age at the time of appointment
• Must have and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver’s license
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have or  be able to obtain a Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms, “LTC"

Compensation and Benefits

• Educational incentive 10%, 20% & 25%
• 4&2 schedule
• Health & Dental insurance

Application Process:

• Prior to appointment, candidates are subject to:
• Extensive background check
• Psychological examination
• Medical examination
• Interview process
• Required to pass the MPTC fitness test
• If not a POST certified lateral transfer, must be required to attend and pass 800 hour MPTC police academy
