The Franklin Township Police Department is now accepting applications for the following positions:

  • Full Time Police Officer-Certified
  • Academy Attendee
  • Class II Special Officer (Retired L.E. Officers are encouraged to apply)

The Franklin Township Police Department offers a wide variety of career opportunities to include:

Starting salary for the Franklin Township Police Department based on position:

  • Full Time Officer: $56,010.98
  • Academy Attendee: TBD
  • Class II Special Officer: $19-$25 per hour

Requirements for hiring:

  • 18-35 years old and US Citizen
  • Must possess valid NJ Driver’s License
  • Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Must be a resident of New Jersey
  • Applicants must pass a physical fitness test, panel interview, background investigation, medical/psychological exam, and drug screening
