About the Dover Police Department


The Dover Police Department has eighteen full-time police officers. We have a Chief, four Sergeants, one Detective, and twelve patrol officers. We are a service-oriented police department and often go above and beyond for our community.

About Us

The town of Dover is 15.4 square miles and has a population of around 6,200. We are about 18 miles from the city of Boston and close to Route 95 and 93.
