NOW HIRING – FULL-TIME EMERGENCY SERVICES DISPATCHER
The Warren Township Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Full-Time Emergency Services Dispatcher. This critical role involves answering 911 and non-emergency calls, dispatching police, fire, and EMS units, and providing vital support in emergency situations.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior dispatch experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
Candidates must pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
NJ Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification
Basic Telecommunicator (BTC) certification
Familiarity with Computer Aid Dispatch (CAD) systems
