NOW HIRING FOR 

 FULL TIME  DISPATCHERS 

Barrington is seeking FULL time Police/Fire Dispatchers to receive routine and emergency calls from the public requesting police, fire, medical or other services. Determine the nature and location of the emergency; determine priorities, and dispatch police, fire ambulance or other emergency units as necessary and in accordance with established procedures.

Candidate must have excellent computer data entry knowledge (IMC experience preferred), communicate clearly, have the ability to multitask and have good customer service skills. 

The full time position starts at $47,128 with regular increases to $55,546 with full benefits including medical, dental, life, paid holidays, 14 vacation days after one year of service, 15 sick days, clothing allowance and longevity after 3 years of service. 

Primary work schedule is 12:00 midnight to 8:00 AM four nights per week followed by two nights off.  Additional shifts are available.
