The Franklin Township Police Department is now accepting applications for certified candidates who are interested in a career in law enforcement. Eligible applicants must possess a New Jersey PTC certification as a full time police officer or Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II.
Hiring Process:
- Successful Completion of Physical Fitness Test
- Panel Interview
- Background Investigation
- Psychological Investigation
- Medical/Drug Screening
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18-35 years old and US Citizen
- Must possess valid NJ Driver’s License
- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Must be a resident of New Jersey
- Must be able to successfully pass a physical fitness test, drug screening, background investigation, medical examination, and psychological examination
