The Branford Police Department, as part of its ongoing hiring campaign, is seeking Connecticut P.O.S.T Certified Officers to fill anticipated full time patrol officer vacancies. Starting salary for Certified Police Officers - $84,398. All Candidates will be required to successfully complete a written examination, oral interview, the current P.O.S.T physical assessment (Cooper Test) and a Chief's interview. In addition, candidates must successfully pass a background investigation, polygraph, psychological and medical examination including drug screening.
