The Buxton Police Department was founded in 1967. The department currently staffs the following positions: Chief of Police, 2 Sergeants, Detective, 8 Patrol Officers, 2 Reserve Officers, Animal Control Officer, 5 Dispatchers, 3 Administrative staff. We, the men and women of the Buxton Police Department commit to transparency and accountability as we strive to protect and serve the Buxton community with integrity and professionalism.

The Buxton Police Department strives to make our community a better place every day. We post community events that the department takes part in. We also host the Community Alliance.
