State Accreditation Program: Training Seminar

This training program is delivered at no cost and is specifically designed for accreditation managers, team members, and command or supervisor-level administrative personnel. The Connecticut Police Academy, located at 285 Preston Avenue in Meriden, 06450, will host two identical one-day sessions from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on November 3, 2026, and November 17, 2026. Participants need attend only one session.

Instructors from the POST Accreditation Division will lead the seminar, offering participants insight into the State Accreditation process. Topics covered include file construction strategies, how to identify proofs of compliance, preparation approaches for file reviews, and other critical requirements and procedures relevant to the accreditation process.

Registration is open to an unlimited number of attendees and will be processed automatically upon submission. Interested participants should complete a registration form via the Acadis portal no later than Friday, October 23, 2026. Participants are reminded that there is no tuition for this course. Lunch may be obtained at nearby restaurants. The uniform dress code specified in POST In-Service Training General Notice 23-02 will apply, and training supervisors are asked to inform assigned personnel of this requirement.
