Course Overview
This comprehensive patrol tactics training program goes beyond standard curriculum requirements by employing scenario-based instruction that exposes participants to realistic threat situations ranging from single adversaries to multiple threats. Trainees will develop proficiency in tactical movement, positioning relative to cover, dynamic decision-making, and stress management as training progresses from stationary exercises to dynamic scenarios. The course encompasses a 240-degree field of fire and is facilitated by an experienced Career Federal Officer and retired DSF Operator with extensive tactical background.
Course Details
This four-hour training session is particularly recommended for patrol officers and undercover operatives seeking to enhance their tactical capabilities. Participants should be prepared for physical demands including sprinting, kneeling, and prone positioning.
Required Equipment and Supplies
- Either 350 rounds of AR ammunition or 350 rounds of pistol ammunition (participants may bring both weapon types)
- Eye and ear protection
- Adequate hydration (water and/or coffee)
- Tourniquet
- Complete tactical kit
- Knee pads and gloves
- Notebook for note-taking (optional)
