Advanced Field Training Officer Course
This two-day intensive program is tailored for Field Training Officers (FTOs) and FTO coordinators who seek to strengthen their abilities in communication, instruction, and record-keeping. In an increasingly litigation-focused environment, the ability of FTOs to properly train recruits and document performance is essential for reducing negligent retention risks and maintaining departmental standards.
Throughout the course, participants engage in comprehensive lectures, collaborative group discussions, and hands-on interactive activities designed to build expertise and practical application skills. The curriculum emphasizes becoming a more proficient instructor and mentor while upholding excellence within your agency.
