Overview:
This intensive three-day program provides comprehensive training based on the nationally acclaimed San Jose Field Training Model. The course aligns with C.A.L.E.A. accreditation standards and carries IADLEST certification through the National Certification Programâ„¢. Ideal for prospective and experienced Field Training Officers, this program delivers essential competencies for guiding, coaching, and assessing officers during their probationary period. Participants explore critical subjects including leadership fundamentals, ethical decision-making, legal principles, evidence-based instructional methods, and effective record-keeping with standardized assessment tools. Interactive learning through scenario-based activities, real-world analysis, and recorded decision-making exercises prepares attendees to establish and maintain a quality, transparent field training initiative.

- Comprehend the structure and requirements of the San Jose Field Training Model
- Master the Standardized Evaluation Guidelines, Daily Observation Reports, Remedial Worksheets, and Side Evaluations
