Course Description

Interviews and interrogations form critical pillars of modern police work. The ability to gather information has consistently proven to be among the most powerful resources available to law enforcement for both solving active cases and preventing future crimes. This two-day, hands-on course is designed to equip officers of all experience levels with refined and expanded competencies in interviewing and interrogation techniques. Participants will explore diverse interview formats, including field and street-level interactions with victims, witnesses, suspects, and other information sources. The course emphasizes that interpersonal and communication skills are at least as vital—if not more so—than technical proficiency. By integrating these three essential elements into a cohesive skill set, officers will be better prepared to handle routine calls for service as well as more intricate, involved investigations.
