This two-day course is designed for patrol officers, detectives, and first-line supervisors seeking comprehensive knowledge of criminal procedure from initial contact through conviction. The program delivers an in-depth exploration of foundational criminal procedure principles, contemporary case law developments, and their constitutional implications under the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments, as well as Articles 12 and 14 of the Massachusetts Declaration of Rights. Participants will examine current case law and review common criminal defenses. A hardcopy Criminal Procedure Guide (valued at $99) is included with the course.
