Overview
This seminar equips new and experienced police supervisors with the knowledge and practical tools needed to lead and manage subordinate staff effectively. - Maintaining a Supervisor Notebook
- Conducting Monthly Employee meetings
- Reviewing Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulations on a weekly basis
- Understanding your Job Description
- Using attitude as a determinant of organizational advancement
- Setting clear and concise work and performance expectations
- Dealing with Unionized employees (rights and obligations)
- Tools for correcting employees with bad attitudes
- Documenting and reporting behavioral and performance issues
- Dealing with disgruntled, unproductive and ineffective subordinates
- Using supervisory position and presence as effective management tools
