Overview

This seminar equips new and experienced police supervisors with the knowledge and practical tools needed to lead and manage subordinate staff effectively. Participants will learn essential supervisory techniques including proper documentation of behavioral and performance issues, strategies for addressing underperforming or difficult employees, and how to leverage supervisory presence as a management tool. The course emphasizes clear communication, appropriate corrective action procedures, and managing relationships with unionized personnel.

  • Dealing with Unionized employees (rights and obligations)
  • Tools for correcting employees with bad attitudes
