This two-day training program is specifically designed to strengthen the abilities of Field Training Officers (FTOs) and departmental FTO coordinators in the areas of communication, instruction, and record-keeping. The course addresses the critical importance of comprehensive documentation and effective training methods within today's legally complex environment, particularly regarding the FTO's responsibility in preparing new officers and reducing the risk of negligent retention issues.

Participants will engage with course material through a combination of instructional presentations, collaborative group discussions, and hands-on practical activities. These varied learning approaches enable attendees to build expertise and competency in their vital roles as mentors and instructional leaders. Cancellation Policy: Participants may cancel anytime outside of 21 days prior to the class start date and receive a full refund minus a 5% administrative fee. No refunds are issued for cancellations within 21 days of the class; however, student substitutions are permitted.
