Cellebrite Advanced Smartphone Analysis with Inseyets (CASA)
This advanced five-day course is designed for experienced mobile forensic practitioners who want to develop expert-level skills in analyzing complex smartphone data. Participants will gain hands-on experience in conducting deep forensic recovery and analysis of mobile application data across both Android and iOS platforms using Inseyets Physical Analyzer.
Course Content
The training covers advanced forensic recovery and analysis techniques for mobile application data, with emphasis on deep examination of Android and iOS extractions. Students will explore SQLite database structures and employ advanced search methodologies to uncover critical evidence. The course includes instruction on decoding unsupported and partially decoded application data, pattern-of-life analysis across mobile artifacts, and validation of findings using forensic best practices. Participants will also learn to extend their analytical capabilities using third-party and open-source tools as well as Python scripting.

Prerequisites and Preparation
While there is no formal prerequisite requirement, the course strongly recommends completing the Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) certification and having familiarity with Inseyets Physical Analyzer. In-person and virtual courses include required self-paced pre-work that must be completed before class begins. Pre-work content is included in the final examination.
Primary Tools
Participants will work with Inseyets Physical Analyzer for advanced forensic analysis and validation, SQLite database views for deep database inspection and recovery, and advanced search and examination tools within the platform.
Path to Certification
CASA Inseyets is not a standalone certification course. It serves as the final required course in the Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME) Inseyets pathway. The full CCME pathway includes three required courses: Cellebrite Certified Operator for Inseyets (CCO), Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst for Inseyets (CCPA), and Cellebrite Advanced Smartphone Analysis with Inseyets (CASA).

Upon completion, participants receive advanced hands-on training in smartphone application analysis and build expert-level skills for handling complex mobile forensic investigations.
