Course Overview

This comprehensive two-day training program addresses one of the most critical threats facing law enforcement today. Over the past 36 months, ambush-style attacks have resulted in 284 officers being shot, with many of these incidents occurring during routine traffic stops, residential approaches, and community interactions. The course is designed to equip officers with the tactical knowledge and decision-making skills necessary to anticipate danger and respond effectively under extreme pressure rather than simply reacting to threats.

Learning Objectives

Participants will develop expertise in assessing and managing evolving threat scenarios, reading behavioral indicators, communicating strategically with suspects and colleagues, and coordinating with cover officers during tactical operations. The training emphasizes practical execution of sound tactics in high-stress, dynamic environments. Instructors will also prepare attendees to create customized training scenarios that address specific learning objectives for their own personnel.
