Course Focus

The program provides participants with practical training on identifying deception through three primary channels: written communication, body language, and verbal statements. Research by renowned psychologists, including Dr. Paul Eckman, demonstrates that most professionals lack adequate training in distinguishing truthful individuals from those being deceptive. This course addresses that gap by teaching reliable indicators of truthfulness and deception that have proven effective throughout history.

Participants will not only learn to differentiate between truthful and deceptive statements, but also pinpoint the specific locations within statements where deception occurs. The training incorporates real-world case examples and practical exercises, enabling students to immediately apply learned techniques.

Key Training Components

Handwriting Analysis: Students examine how personality and psychological profiles emerge through handwriting. Training covers identification of aggression, truthfulness indicators, and deceptive markers that may have been previously overlooked.

Kinesics (Body Language): This section focuses on interpreting body language within interview contexts. Participants learn to assess the communicative value of hands, feet, eyes, posture, voice pitch, touch, and other nonverbal indicators to determine whether subjects are being forthcoming or withholding information.

Statement Analysis: Participants develop skills in evaluating written or verbal statements and 911 calls. Training covers statement length analysis, pronoun usage patterns, and identification of red flags. Research by the FBI demonstrates that departments utilizing statement analysis achieve 6% higher clearance rates compared to those that do not.
