Westport Police Department

At the present time, the Department is made up of 31 permanent officers still down 3 from a high 34 in 2000. We answered 25, 536 calls for service and we drove 355,049 miles patrolling your streets.

The Westport Police Department will establish and maintain a partnership and spirit of cooperation with the commmunity, that recognizes a shared responsibility to improve the quality of life and ensure a problem solving philosphy of community policing.
