The Tewksbury Police Department is committed to serving our community and providing the best possible service for those we serve through care and compassion. We train and strive for excellence with the hope that we can earn the communities respect and trust.

The Tewksbury Police Department is comprised of 67 sworn officers and 8 full time employees. We are a pro-active police department and have a strong community policing philosophy.

The Department has many specialty units and positions consisting of the Criminal Investigations Division, ATV Unit, Drone Unit, K-9 Unit, School Resource Officers, Community Engagement Unit, Drug Unit, and Motorcycle Unit, to name a few.
