Now accepting Applications for Animal Control Officers

Salary: $56,988.06 Annually

Schedule: 5 on 2 off work schedule

Key Responsibilities

Respond to animal-related service calls and enforce local ordinances
Investigate cases of animal cruelty and neglect
Capture, transport, and care for domestic animals
Assist with wildlife calls and shelter operations
Maintain reports, records, and attend court as needed
Educate the public and participate in community outreach

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
3-5 years of animal-related experience (or equivalent)
Ability to handle animals of all sizes and manage stressful situations
Basic computer and communication skills
Must pass a background investigation
