About The Department
The Police Department is broken up into two divisions and then into various bureaus, platoons and units.
The two divisions within the agency are the Operations Division and the Administrative Division.
The Operations Division which includes Patrol and Investigations is commanded by Captain Thomas Barstow.
The Administrative Division is commanded by Captain Edward Niesz. This division of the organization is responsible for the numerous tasks not directly associated with the Patrol or Investigation functions of the agency.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Manalapan Police department is to work in partnership with the community and to provide services, enforce the law, preserve the peace, reduce fear and enhance the quality of life within the community remains the same.
