Mountain Lakes is a Borough in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, and a suburb of New York City. As of the 2000 United States Census there were 4,256 people, 1,330 households, and 1,186 families residing in the Borough. The Borough has a land area of 2.91 square miles. The community is primarily residential with the majority of businesses on US Route 46. |
The current makeup of the Department is thirteen Officers and four SLEO II's. Patrol Officers work the Pitman Schedule with 12 hour shifts. The School Resource Officer and Detective work a Monday to Friday schedule. |
