The Middletown Township Police Department is a full-service, state accredited law enforcement agency serving a diverse suburban community in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Department consists of 64 sworn officers and 16 civilian professional staff. Operations are organized into the Patrol Division, the Criminal Investigations Division, and the Administrative Division, supported by a variety of specialized units, including Traffic/Motor Unit, K-9 Unit, School Resource Officers, Honor Guard, Accident Reconstruction, Community Relations, and other specialty assignments. The Department is committed to professional policing, community engagement, and providing high-quality public safety services.

Mission Statement

The Middletown Township Police Department safeguards lives and property, and protects the right of all persons within its jurisdiction to be free from violence and criminal attack, to be secure in their possessions and to live in peace and tranquility. The Department serves the people of Middletown Township by discharging the law enforcement function in a professional manner and it is to these people that the department is ultimately responsible.

Middletown Township is the ninth-largest township and the nineteenth-largest municipality in Pennsylvania covering 20 square miles with over 46,000 residents.
