Parking Enforcement Officer
North Wildwood Police Department has a seasonal position available within the Police Department as a Parking Enforcement Officer. The Parking Enforcement Officers' primary responsibility is to ensure that drivers comply with local parking laws, ordinances and issue citations for violations. Most officers are assigned to a particular geographic area, which they patrol and monitor for violations, such as parking in a no-parking zone, expired meters and other types of illegal parking.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must comply with the following basic qualification standards:
- United States Citizen
- valid driver’s license
- Age 18 or older
- Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Be of good moral character
- Pass Background Investigation, Oral Interview, Medical Examination
HIRING PROCESS
- Application Review, Background Investigation, Oral Interview, Conditional Offer of Employment, Medical Testing, Drug Testing, Final Approval from the Chief of Police
