The Glen Ridge Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Dispatcher.
Dispatcher Qualifications
- Certifications Preferred but not required
- EMD- Emergency Medical Dispatch
- BTC- Basic Telecommunication
- CPR- Certification
Education & Other Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Be licensed by the state of New Jersey to operate motor vehicles
- Be of good moral character
- Be a legally qualified voter
- Never convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude
- Never been a member of any party or group or organization advocating the overthrow of the government of the United States or any state thereof
