CITY OF GROTON

POLICE DISPATCHER

$54,080.00 Yearly

(Depending on experience)

 

The City of Groton is accepting applications for a F/T Police Dispatcher for the Police Department. Multiple shifts, weekends and holidays. The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent . Communications experience as a dispatcher or telephone operator or an equivalent combination of education, employment and training, be able to work under pressure and multi-task. Must possess and maintain certification as a Telecommunicator by the State of Connecticut.

The original application must be submitted to the Policeapp.com website. The City of Groton Police Department requires all applicants to take the CPCA Dispatcher Exam as part of the hiring process.  

Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications must be submitted prior to Sunday, December 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. or until position is filled .

The City of Groton reserves the right to extend the closing date for the submission of applications without additional notice or to re-advertise for the position.
