Job Announcement:
The Town of Granby, CT is seeking a Chief of Police.
Under the general direction of the Town Manager; the Chief plans, organizes, and supervises the activities of the Police Department. Responsible for personnel, patrol, and investigative functions, grant writing, preparing and managing the departmental budget, and maintaining community policing programs.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field is required; Masters Degree or FBI National Academy graduation desirable. Qualified candidates will be a CT Certified Police Officer with demonstrated command level experience.
This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package and competitive starting salary. Salary upon hire will range between 118k-143k, depending on experience.
