JOB POSTING
ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER
The Town of Stafford is accepting applications for Entry Level Police Officer. A valid CHIP card and a minimum passing score of 70% on the CPCA Entry Level Written Exam are required prior to applying.
In Addition, the successful candidate will be scheduled for and must pass the following:
A physical examination, background investigation, polygraph, psychological examination
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
Compensation
Starting Compensation $61,600.50 to $66,600.50, Plus $2,500.00 if not participating in health insurance plan.
Benefits
Governed by the Teamster Union labor agreement with the Town of Stafford:
5/3 schedule, 12 Holidays paid at 1 ½ rate plus a compensatory day, 10 years of experience 15 vacation days, Defined Contribution 457 plan
