HIRING NOTICE
The Springfield Township Police Department (Burlington County) is currently accepting resumes for the position of POLICE OFFICER. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, well organized, self-directed professional who embraces new challenges, collaborates well with team members, accepts responsibility, and exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills. Applicants must possess a current Police Training Commission (PTC) certificate, a SLEO Il certificate, or be currently enrolled in a police academy Alternate Route Program, or a SLEO Il academy pending graduation. Salary is negotiable, commensurate with years of experience.
The Springfield Township Police Department is comprised of ten (10) officers who are community oriented and who take pride in their proactive response to crime, and quality of life issues.
Applicants must possess the below qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Police training certification or other listed above
- Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of New Jersey prior to appointment
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License
- Must possess good moral character and a strong work ethic
- Must be in good mental and physical health
- Must pass a background check, and be free from conviction of any crime
- Must be able to work 12 Hour shifts, Day and Night
SALARY:
- PTC Certified - $49,492 step one contract, $53,299 with holiday pay
- SLEO II - $17.50 - $25.00hr BENEFITS:
