CERTIFIED & UNCERTIFIED POLICE OFFICERS

We offer a take-home patrol unit, overtime projects, uniforms and firearms are issued.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (College degree preferred)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be a State approved Police Academy graduate or 21 years of age and possess or be able to obtain a valid New Mexico Driver's License

Longevity Pay begins at date of hire; 

• 5% after the 1st year
• 2% after the 2nd year
• 3% after the 3rd Year
• 5% every 3 years after
• 0.25 incentive for each additional certification
• 0.50 Bilingual pay (with passing test score
• Police PERA Plan 3 Retirement
• Yearly footwear allowance at $150.00/year
