Salary and Benefits
- 2025 Base Salary: $63,191 (probationary) to $106,383 (top base pay)
- Bonuses: Accreditation, longevity, and holiday bonuses

Individuals must be able to pass a background investigation, drug test, and polygraph examination. Act 120 Certification is preferred. Probationary salary for 2025 is $63,191, with incremental raises every year. The department offers an excellent benefits and retirement package.
