Borough of Middletown Police Department
POLICE OFFICER EXAM
The Borough of Middletown Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of full time police officer.
If you are a current academy cadet or have graduated from a certified police academy within one year, you are eligible for academy tuition reimbursement as a hiring incentive.
If you are currently employed as a PA police officer or are eligible for immediate Act 120 certification, you are eligible for a hiring bonus of $5,750.
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Eligible for immediate Act 120 Certification, or be enrolled in a certified police academy at the time of the application
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid PA driver's license
- Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Be physically and mentally fit to perform all duties, as per MPOETC regulations
- Must pass a complete background investigation
The physical agility test and the written test will both occur on Sunday, February 26, 2023 starting at 1200 hrs. The location of the testing is yet to be determined; however, it will be in the Middletown area.
Starting salary $58,255 increasing to $83,213 with six years of service.
