TOWNSHIP OF LYNDHURST POLICE DEPARTMENT
IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR
POLICE OFFICER
Starting September 1, 2023, the Township of Lyndhurst will be accepting applications for the position of probationary Police Officer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be between the ages of 21-35 years of age, meet requirements of N.J.S.A. 40:14-122, possess at least (60) credits from an accredited institution. The Township may substitute, for the education requirement, (2) two or more years of Military Service, (3) three years as a PTC Certified Police Officer, graduated from an approved Alternate Route Program.
HIRING PROCESS
Applicants must pass a series of interviews, background investigation, physical and psychological screening.
SALARY
Competitive Law Enforcement salary.
